It converts line power into regulated three-phase output while executing motion commands for brushless axes, so it serves as both the inverter and controller in automated assembly cells, packaging stations, and material handling equipment. Direct machine mounting is possible because the unit integrates power electronics, a single-axis positioning module, and field wiring within a sealed housing. This layout allows the drive to be mounted near the axis without a separate cabinet-mounted inverter for that channel.
