Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N100A-DL20-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It provides single-axis positioning through its integrated command module and uses digital servo feedback to close the control loop with compatible synchronous motors. This arrangement lets the drive regulate motor current, speed, and position within one unit instead of relying on separate control hardware for each function. It can execute commanded motion profiles while correcting deviations caused by load changes or rapid speed transitions. By combining the drive, regulator, and bleeder circuitry in one housing, the unit suits machine tools, material-handling stations, and other automated equipment that requires precise velocity and torque control.
This drive operates from a three-phase supply of 3 × 220 V (+15/-10%) or 3 × 230 V (+10/-15%) at line frequencies of 50 to 60 Hz. That input range supports use on common industrial mains when the supply remains within the listed tolerances. A continuous output of 100 A supports demanding axis motion, and the converter’s apparent demand can reach 18 kVA under maximum electrical load. Pulse-width modulation runs at 4 kHz, which sets the switching frequency for the power stage and shapes the motor current delivered during operation. Standard cooling moves air across the internal heat sinks, and the housing is 635 mm high, 220 mm wide, and 22 kg in weight. The internal bleeder circuit can absorb returned energy up to 10 kWs without requiring an external resistor during normal regenerated-energy events.
The unit delivers a continuous load of 6 kW and accepts a usable peak load of 17 kW for short high-demand moves such as rapid indexing and brisk acceleration. When the axis decelerates, regenerated energy is routed through a braking resistor that tolerates a peak of 20 kW, which helps prevent overvoltage faults on the DC bus. The cast enclosure carries an IP65 rating, so dust and low-pressure water jets do not affect the electronics. This protection supports use in enclosed machine areas where moisture, debris, or routine washdown splash may be present.
