In automated assembly cells or packaging lines, the drive supplies regulated torque, speed, and position control, so a separate amplifier is not required. All control, power electronics, and protective circuitry are integrated into a single IP-rated enclosure for decentralized machine mounting.

This unit delivers a rated output current of 50 A, so conductors, fuses, and drive sizing must accommodate that continuous load. Pulse generation occurs at a carrier frequency of 8 kHz, a switching rate that balances acoustic noise with motor current ripple. When connected to the mains, the drive draws up to 6 kVA, so panel transformers and breakers must be sized for that apparent power.
