The DDC01.2-N050C-DA02-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and part of the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It operates between the mains supply and a compatible Indramat servo motor, using motor feedback to regulate torque, speed, and position in packaging systems, machine tools, and other automated equipment. The unit receives analog reference signals through its analog interface command module and converts them into pulse-width-modulated output for controlled electro-mechanical motion. Because the control loop uses incoming feedback, the drive can correct for load changes and keep commanded motion more consistent during repeated machine cycles.

Its continuous output capacity is based on a rated motor current of 50 A, allowing full torque without thermal derating. The input stage draws up to 6 kVA, and the drive supports motor power up to 4 kW. An internal monitor channel outputs within ±10 V so external equipment can follow speed or torque behavior. The monitor output can also be used for diagnostics or control supervision without adding a separate signal transducer. Heat is removed by standard cooling airflow, so no external heat exchanger is required. A 0.25 kW continuous bleeder handles excess energy, and the 4 mA analog load supports process signal transmission.

During rapid deceleration, the braking resistor can absorb up to 10 kW, while the DC bus can pass regenerated peaks of 5 kWs. The housing has an IP65 rating, which protects the electronics from dust and low-pressure water jets when the unit is mounted on the machine. That protection level supports use on equipment where airborne dust and routine splash exposure may be present. Acoustic emission remains within the reduced-noise classification. With a mass of 21 kg, the enclosure remains solid and stable when mounted to the machine frame. The unit carries Function code 02 and Version 01.
