Product Description:
The DDC01.2-K200A-R is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The unit converts three-phase line power into regulated armature voltage and current for synchronous servomotors, enabling precise speed and torque control in automated machinery. Resolver feedback is processed internally so the drive can close the position loop without separate motion electronics, making it a compact actuator interface for material-handling, packaging, and machine-tool axes.
The drive has a continuous current rating of 45 A and supports an average mechanical output of 7.5 kW when the housing relies on natural convection for cooling. Upstream supply equipment must deliver 22.5 kVA of apparent power, while an internal power loss of 500 W is dissipated through the finned enclosure. The housing is sealed to IP65, protecting the fanless cooling path from dust and water jets. Pulse-width modulation operates at 4 kHz, balancing current ripple against switching losses and audible noise. Noise emission is standard for the 100 A to 200 A class. The controller is Series 1 and Version 2.
The built-in bleeder can absorb 0.25 kW continuously and up to 40 kW during rapid deceleration, with 20 kWs of storage capacity for regenerated energy. Rated and peak armature current are both 200 A, while a short-term current limit of 90 A supports intermediate overloads. The drive can operate at a maximum ambient temperature of 55 °C and at elevations up to 1,000 m without derating. The assembly weighs 22 kg, providing a substantial enclosure for the power electronics and integrated braking components. The finned housing transfers internally generated heat to the surrounding air while maintaining the sealed enclosure required for operation near industrial machinery.
