Product Description:
The DDC01.2-K200A-D is a digital intelligent servo drive developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The unit functions as a closed-loop amplifier that supplies controlled three-phase power to synchronous motors, enabling precise position, velocity, and torque regulation in automated machine tools, packaging lines, and handling systems. Its integrated diagnostics and communication interfaces let the drive coordinate with higher-level controllers while maintaining motor feedback loops directly inside the enclosure.
Rated for 200 A, the drive can deliver the output current required for large servo axes while absorbing mains power up to 22.5 kVA. A bleeder resistor dissipates regenerated energy, providing 0.25 kW continuously and tolerating surges to 40 kW during rapid deceleration. The power channel supports a continuous mechanical load of 7.5 kW, and the control electronics draw only 150 mA from a 24 V DC logic supply, so auxiliary loading remains low. Natural convection air cooling removes 500 W of internal power loss without fans, keeping acoustic emissions within the Standard (100 A–200 A) noise class. Digital servo feedback from the attached motor closes the motion loop, and the unit is series 1, version 2.
During short-duration moves, the controller can impose a peak mechanical output of 33 kW, with a programmed temporary limit of 15 kW for applications that need brief but elevated torque. Up to 20 kWs of regenerated energy are accepted by the internal circuitry before external braking is needed. The drive retains its performance at elevations up to 1000 m and has an IP65 protection class, so conductive dust and water jets are kept away from internal components. A mass of 22 kg supports passive thermal stability without making wall or cabinet mounting impractical.
