Product Description:
The DDC01.2-K150A-DL20-01-FW is a drive unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. This Series 1, Version 2 hardware package combines the inverter stage and motion controller in a single IP-rated enclosure. Installed on the machine frame, it supplies regulated three-phase power to an Indramat servomotor so that automated presses, gantries, or conveyors achieve precise speed and position control without an external amplifier. The drive interprets setpoints from the cell PLC and supervises feedback, converting them into pulse-width-modulated currents while monitoring bus voltage and temperature.
The power electronics are dimensioned for a continuous output of 150 A, enabling the axis to withstand high starting torque. Internal logic and I/O are sustained by 24 V DC, while the interface draws about 150 mA from that rail. Two differential analog monitor channels can swing to ±10 V and are rated for loads up to 4 mA, so external instrumentation does not distort the signal. A diagnostic socket delivers up to 100 mA of test current for clip-on meters. For safety, the drive announces ready only after the 24 V/1 A relay closes, and when the dynamic braking resistor reaches 75 percent of its thermal limit, a bleeder pre-warning flag is issued so the PLC can decelerate the machine.
The sealed housing has an IP 65 rating and relies on natural convection air cooling to remove heat. The DC link tolerates nonperiodic excursions up to 745 V, and a contact closes at 200 V to confirm full charge to the control card. Motion sequences are executed by the Single Axis Positioning module under function code version 01. Position data returns over digital servo feedback, improving resolution and noise immunity. Acoustic output conforms to the standard 100 A to 200 A noise class, keeping sound levels within typical plant limits.
