Product Description:
The DDC01.2-K100A-R is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a pulse-width-modulated output that controls servo motors in automated machinery. The drive regulates motor torque, speed, and position in response to commands from the connected machine control system. The product is Series 1 and hardware Version 2, and its integrated regeneration circuit manages energy returned by the motor during deceleration.
The drive provides a rated output current of 100 A, supporting the high motor current required during demanding acceleration cycles. Its bleeder circuit dissipates 0.25 kW continuously and can handle a peak of 20 kW during rapid deceleration. Available mechanical output is 6 kW continuously, with a peak of 17 kW and a short-duration capacity of 12 kW. The power stage switches at 4 kHz to produce the modulated waveform supplied to the motor. Internal power loss is 500 W, and natural convection removes this heat without requiring forced ventilation. Noise emission is standard for drives in the 100 A to 200 A range. The intermediate circuit can absorb as much as 10 kWs of regenerated energy before additional dissipation is required. Resolver feedback is processed through a dedicated interface, allowing the controller to monitor rotor position and maintain closed-loop motion control. Feedback cables can extend up to 75 m while maintaining the required signal quality.
The drive draws 18 kVA from the supply and can operate at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C. Its IP65 housing protects internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets, allowing installation directly on suitable machine frames outside a control cabinet. The unit weighs 22 kg, so its mounting surface must provide adequate structural support. Operation is permitted at relative humidity levels up to 95 percent when condensation is prevented. Internal monitoring tracks ambient conditions, pulse-width modulation duty, and recovered energy so the controller can respond when operating limits are approached.
