Product Description:
The DDC01.2-K100A-DL11-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The unit integrates power conversion, motion control, and protection functions for one electromechanical axis in industrial automation. A built-in Single Axis Positioning command module generates trajectory data, while digital servo feedback from the motor closes the loop for position and velocity regulation. The drive is designed for cabinet installation and relies on natural convection for cooling, so it does not require forced-air accessories.
Several electrical and mechanical limits describe its continuous-duty envelope. A continuous mechanical output capability of 6 kW can be sustained without derating, whereas brief overloads up to 12 kW are tolerated to cover acceleration peaks. The usable mechanical peak load reaches 17 kW, providing additional headroom for rapid indexing moves before control intervention is required. On the supply side, the inverter draws up to 18 kVA from the mains and delivers a rated motor current of 100 A. These values indicate the electrical demand and heat load associated with continuous operation in multi-axis cabinets.
Energy returned from decelerating loads is handled internally: the bleeder can absorb 10 kWs of regenerated energy per cycle, with a peak dissipation capacity of 20 kW and a continuous limit of 0.25 kW. This prevents DC-bus overvoltage without external braking resistors in most medium-inertia applications. The permissible ambient operating temperature extends to 55 °C; within this range, the controller maintains specified accuracy provided installation altitude does not exceed 1000 m. The drive uses a 4 kHz pulse frequency, has 500 W of internal power loss, and falls within the standard 100 A to 200 A noise emission class.
