Product Description:
The DDC01.2-K050C-R is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It integrates power electronics and motion-control logic to regulate synchronous or asynchronous servo motors in automated production lines. Resolver feedback is processed internally, allowing the unit to close torque and speed loops without auxiliary controllers, while an internal bleeder network handles regenerated energy during deceleration.
The drive draws up to 6 kVA from the supply and dissipates 500 W of power loss under continuous duty. A continuous output of 25 A is available, while the rated and peak current limits are both 50 A; the drive supports a continuous mechanical load of 4 kW. Excess DC-bus energy is routed to a 0.25 kW bleeder that can momentarily absorb 10 kW, while the intermediate circuit can store 5 kWs. The switching bridge operates at 8 kHz, reducing current ripple and audible noise, which is further minimized by the Standard (50 A) reduced-noise design. Natural convection cooling eliminates fan maintenance, resolver feedback synchronizes the PWM phase angle, and pulse processing is handled by Series 1, Version 2 control logic.
For short bursts, the unit supports an 8 kW mechanical load, while its peak mechanical output reaches 8.5 kW. An enclosure rating of IP65 permits mounting on machinery exposed to dust or coolant spray, and the aluminum housing weighs 21 kg, adding thermal mass that assists convection cooling. Reliable performance is supported at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C; above this temperature, the controller automatically limits current to protect the power electronics and connected motor. The sealed housing helps prevent contaminants from reaching internal components during operation. Integrated regeneration handling allows the drive to dissipate returned energy without requiring an auxiliary controller. Reduced acoustic output makes the unit suitable for medium-power axes installed near active production areas.
