The DDC01.2-K050A-DL30-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It serves as the power and control stage for a single servo axis, converting incoming electrical power into regulated motor output for controlled motion. Designed to regulate torque, speed, and position of Indramat servo motors, it uses drive-integrated power electronics and digital servo feedback in packaging, handling, and general motion platforms. This arrangement lets the drive respond quickly to changing load conditions during acceleration, deceleration, and holding. The drive is Series 1 and Version 2.

The drive accepts a supply of 3 x AC 230 V and is rated for a continuous phase output of 50 A, providing adequate headroom for medium-frame Indramat motors. Thermal losses are removed by natural convection air cooling, so cabinet ventilation is sufficient without auxiliary fans. A housing sealed to IP65 tolerates dust and water jets, making on-machine mounting possible. Status information is displayed through 8 diagnostic LEDs, enabling quick fault localization during operation. For axis control, the integrated Single Axis Positioning command module exchanges trajectory data over the DBS02.2 bus interface, and a Position Interface DEF01.1 links external encoders to the control loop. Up to 256 nodes can share the segment through Interbus in compliance with DIN E 19258, and five configurable slots provide 5 positions for I/O, fieldbus, or memory expansion. User diagnostics and parameter uploads use the dual-format RS232/RS485 service ports, while transient conditions are limited to a DC-link ceiling of 745 V. The service ports allow local parameter access without using the fieldbus channel.
