The DDC01.2-F200A-D is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The unit conditions three-phase supply power and provides current-regulated output for servo motors equipped with digital servo feedback. It governs axis velocity, position, and braking energy in automated machine tools, pick-and-place gantries, and similar production equipment. The integrated feedback interface closes the velocity and position loops without requiring additional signal converters, allowing the controller to correct motion as operating loads change.
The power section draws 22.5 kVA, which must be considered when selecting the cabinet transformer and circuit breaker. Under continuous duty, the inverter delivers 45 A of motor current and supports a mechanical load of 7.5 kW. Liquid cooling removes heat generated by switching and copper losses, while motor noise remains within the standard band for the 100 A to 200 A range. A bleeding resistor dissipates regenerated energy at 0.25 kW continuously. During periodic overload events, the drive can produce a peak mechanical output of 33 kW. The internal Bb relay contact can switch 24 VDC at 1 A for external fault signaling, giving the connected control system a direct indication of drive status.
During rapid deceleration, the drive channels regenerated energy to the bleeder at up to 40 kW for short periods. Its internal capacitor bank can absorb as much as 20 kWs before the controller issues a warning. The pulse-width modulator switches at 4 kHz, providing responsive torque control while keeping electromagnetic emissions manageable. The power stage has a short-term current ceiling of 90 A and a peak current limit of 200 A to prevent excessive electrical loading. Overall conversion losses are limited to 500 W, and the coolant circuit carries the resulting heat away from the drive. The unit is Series 1 and Version 2, and its short-term mechanical load rating is 15 kW.
