Product Description:
The DDC01.2-F100A-DL04-01-FW is a servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Its command module is dedicated to single-axis positioning, so it can process motion profiles internally instead of relying on a separate axis controller. In automated production lines, the unit regulates torque, speed, and position by exchanging digital servo feedback with an attached motor. This arrangement is suited to applications where one drive is expected to manage its own motion sequence without depending on a higher-level axis module for every move.
The drive supplies a continuous output current of 35 A, while its peak current reaches 100 A during rapid acceleration or braking. Under steady operating conditions, the continuous mechanical power delivered to the load is 6 kW, and momentary peaks up to 17 kW accommodate short bursts of high demand. Pulse-width modulation is generated at 4 kHz, providing fine current resolution, and the noise emission is standard for the 100 A to 200 A range. Short-term ratings include a current limit of 70 A and a mechanical power ceiling of 12 kW. That combination lets the drive handle sustained output and brief overload events without treating peak demand as a continuous operating point. The unit uses Function code 04 with version 01 and is in Series 1, Version 2, with liquid cooling used to remove heat from the power electronics.
Electrical supply to the unit must provide 18 kVA, and the internal bleeder circuit can dissipate regenerated energy at a continuous rate of 0.25 kW with peaks up to 20 kW; the energy buffer is capped at 10 kWs. The bleeder circuit helps absorb regenerated energy when the motor decelerates and returns power to the drive. An enclosure rating of IP65 permits mounting outside a cabinet when the liquid-cooling loop is properly connected. The sealed housing helps protect internal components from dust and water jets during high-duty positioning cycles. This layout allows the drive to be installed close to the machine while the cooling circuit carries heat away from the power stage.
