Product Description:
The DDC01.1-N100A-DG04-00 is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. In an automation cell, it interfaces with CNC or PLC controllers and delivers regulated three-phase power to a servo motor. The drive receives encoder data and uses this information to execute precise speed and torque commands. This closed-loop operation allows the connected motor to respond accurately to changing motion commands and load conditions.
This drive delivers a rated continuous output current of 100 A, and its internal protection opens the circuit when the current reaches 150% of the rated current to prevent excessive winding temperatures during short-term overloads. An overvoltage cutoff engages at 475 V, while the intermediate DC section begins operating once its bus reaches 200 V. These thresholds maintain consistent power modulation without overstressing internal components. Control logic, gating circuitry, and brake relays are supplied from an isolated 24 V DC feed, so configuration functions and fieldbus communication can remain active when the mains line is removed. Function code 04 processes digital servo feedback data to synchronize output pulses with the actual rotor angle, providing rapid response with low following error.
The enclosure has a depth of 275 mm and a width of 298 mm, allowing direct cabinet-door mounting while leaving room for conduit bends. The sealed housing has an IP65 classification that protects the internal components against dust and water. Its cooling channel exhausts heat to the surrounding air while limiting contamination within the enclosure. The front panel provides 5 plug-in slots for resolver, I/O, and communication cards, enabling application-specific expansion. A torque-disconnect delay of 500 ms is followed by a brake-application interval of 400 ms. The brake fully clamps once the shaft speed falls to 10 rpm, preventing load drift during shutdown. Noise emission remains within the standard band for equipment in the 100 A to 200 A rating class.
