The DDC01.1-K150A-R is a digitally controlled servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Working as the power and control interface between a CNC or PLC and a permanent-magnet servo motor, the unit modulates three-phase energy so positioning, velocity, and torque loops can be closed within demanding automation axes. It is used in material-handling gantries, packaging stations, and general machinery where precise dynamic response is required while cabinet space and wiring remain limited. Its integrated control functions allow motion commands and motor feedback to be processed within the same drive platform.
The drive can deliver a continuous armature current of 150 A, allowing it to operate medium-frame motors without forcing them into repeated overload cycles. Heat from the power semiconductors is removed through natural convection, eliminating cooling fans and reducing maintenance requirements in cabinets with adequate vertical airflow clearance. Motor position is processed through resolver feedback, allowing the controller to receive the rotor angle when the shaft is stationary and during operation. Resolver signals also tolerate the shock and vibration commonly encountered in industrial machinery. Acoustic performance remains within the standard noise emission range of 100 A to 200 A, which is suitable for industrial control cabinets that also contain measurement electronics.
