Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K150A-DS46-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Acting as the power and control stage for synchronous or induction servomotors, it receives motion commands through an integrated SERCOS interface and closes the loop with digital servo feedback. This arrangement supports precise torque, speed, and position control in packaging stations, material-handling axes, and general factory automation. Because command processing and feedback evaluation occur inside the unit, the connected motor can respond quickly to changing load conditions and programmed motion profiles.
The power electronics deliver a continuous output of 150 A, making the drive suitable for motors that need high current at low speed or during acceleration. Output power is rated at 15 kW and can rise to 25 kW during short acceleration peaks, giving the axis extra capacity for brief demand changes. Regenerative energy produced while braking is routed to an internal bleeder resistor that can absorb up to 40 kW in brief events, helping protect the DC bus from excess returned energy. A carrier frequency of 4 kHz reduces current ripple and audible noise, and installation heights up to 1000 m are permitted without derating. This combination is useful on indexing axes that alternate between acceleration, dwell, and deceleration over short cycle times.
Natural convection removes the typical power loss, and the housing is sealed to IP65 so the drive can be placed directly on a machine frame in dusty or wet production areas. The enclosure design also helps keep dust and water spray away from internal power sections and control electronics. For sustained braking cycles, the bleeder handles 1.0 kW continuously, and the DC link can buffer up to 10 kWs of returned energy before dissipation begins. Reliable operation is permitted up to 55 °C ambient, provided the incoming supply does not exceed the 22.5 kVA connection limit. The standard 100 A to 200 A noise class and air-cooling layout support use in multi-axis systems where several drives operate in the same enclosure or on the same machine structure.
