Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K150A-DS03-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The unit combines power electronics, closed-loop control, and a SERCOS communication channel to regulate synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery. It receives motion commands from a PLC or CNC and converts them into controlled voltage and current for accurate torque, speed, and position response. By coordinating electrical output with incoming feedback, it supports repeatable motion in production cells, transfer systems, and material-handling equipment.
Its three-phase mains input is rated at 3 x AC 230 V and is compatible with line power at 50/60 Hz. The power stage supplies a continuous output of 150 A, which supports sustained motor demand during axis movement and load changes. Speed or position references can be sent through the SERCOS command channel or through the analog port. That analog interface uses a bipolar control range of ±10 V and can drive instrumentation loads up to 4 mA without noticeable signal loss. Because the analog input is bipolar, the same connection can represent command values in either direction. Digital servo feedback from the connected motor returns incremental position data so the internal processor can correct current and velocity loops during each control cycle.
Thermal management relies on natural convection, and the housing requires 300 mm of free space above it so rising air can leave unobstructed. If the DC bus reaches 475 V, an overvoltage trip disconnects the rectifier to protect the power section. An overcurrent threshold of 1.5 x rated current interrupts conduction during sudden mechanical jams or other abrupt load events. The aluminum enclosure is rated IP65, allowing installation close to the motor where dust and low-pressure water exposure may be present. The DS03 command interface handles SERCOS communication, and the unit remains within the standard 100 A to 200 A acoustic class during operation.
