Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K150A-DS03-01 is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and included in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It provides closed-loop motion control for synchronous motors, allowing industrial equipment to follow commanded position, speed, and torque profiles during automated operation. Power electronics, regulation circuitry, and fieldbus communication are integrated in a single enclosure so the unit can coordinate axes in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines without requiring a separate cabinet-mounted control stage.
Its continuous output capacity is 150 A, enabling the drive to supply high current across the intended load range without derating. The unit accepts three-phase AC mains power, making it compatible with standard factory distribution systems. A sealed IP65 housing protects the electronics from dust and water jets, which permits installation outside a control cabinet. Heat is removed by natural convection air cooling, eliminating fans and liquid cooling circuits. Motion commands, parameters, and real-time status are exchanged over a SERCOS interface, delivering deterministic fiber-optic communication for synchronized multi-axis operation.
Logic circuitry is powered from a separate 24 V DC supply, keeping control electronics isolated from the high-energy bus. Diagnostics are available through an RS-232 service port on the front panel. Protective functions include overvoltage shutdown at 475 V DC and an overcurrent trip set to 1.5 times the rated current to protect the power section during faults. Additional characteristics include digital servo feedback for precise rotor position, a 100 ms minimum power-on pulse for reliable startup, standard noise emission in the 100 to 200 A rating band, and identification by function code 03, function-code version 01, and drive version 1.
