The DDC01.1-K100A-DL12-00/S001 is a digital intelligent servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Integrated within this unit is a Single Axis Positioning command module that executes motion profiles directly in the drive, reducing the load on the host controller during real-time trajectory control. The device serves as the core of a closed-loop automation axis by converting control data into regulated motor current and monitoring position through its feedback interface. It is suited for applications where stored positioning sequences and continuous feedback must be handled within the same housing.

This drive supplies a continuous output of 100 A, allowing it to energize medium-to-large synchronous or induction motors without external amplification. The housing carries an ingress rating of IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot enter the electronics when the cover and connectors are properly sealed. Thermal management relies on natural convection air cooling, so the minimum outlet and side clearances of 300 mm and 65 mm must be observed to keep airflow unobstructed. The memory stores up to 3,000 blocks of positioning code, which the single-axis processor executes internally. Mechanical height is 635 mm without the optional blower and increases to 775 mm when the fan is mounted, and both dimensions fit cabinets that provide 140 mm of dedicated cable space. System expansion is handled through 5 plug-in slots on the front card rack plus 3 auxiliary slots reserved for user I/O or fieldbus cards. Parameter upload and diagnostics are available over the host link's RS-232/RS-485 serial pair, and a separate PC service socket provides a direct RS-232 connection for local service software. Motion accuracy is supported by digital servo feedback, which is read through the X30 34-pin female and X31 9-pin D-sub male connectors. The front card rack allows communication and I/O options to be installed on the drive itself rather than in a separate external assembly.
