This single-axis controller converts line power into regulated three-phase output for Indramat servomotors in factory automation cells, positioning tables, and material-handling stations. The unit carries a Single Axis Positioning command module, allowing the motion profile to be generated internally and returned to the supervisory PLC through feedback channels.
It draws 18 kVA from the supply when running at its maximum continuous rating, and the power stage delivers a steady 100 A to the motor circuit. Switching devices are clocked at 4 kHz, a frequency that balances current ripple with thermal dissipation. Heat is removed by natural convection air cooling, so cabinet airflow must remain unobstructed.
