Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K100A-DG08-00 is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Acting as a self-contained amplifier and controller, it pairs with Indramat AC servomotors to regulate speed, torque, and position in assembly lines, packaging systems, and material-handling axes. Integrated signal processing lets the unit close the motor feedback loop internally, reducing the need for separate motion-control hardware. This arrangement suits servo axes that need compact drive hardware and consistent response during repeated start, stop, and positioning cycles.
It supplies up to 100 A of phase current and supports motors with up to 12 kW of mechanical output. Pulse-width modulation operates at 4 kHz, giving the control loop fine voltage resolution. During operation, the logic and power stage dissipate 420 W of heat, which is removed by natural convection so no external fan is required. Dynamic braking energy is absorbed by an internal resistor that accepts momentary peaks of 20 kW. The housing is sealed to IP65, allowing mounting outside a cabinet near moving machinery. Digital servo feedback from the motor encoder closes the position loop, and the 22 kg base unit can be fastened directly to a machine frame. Its standard noise classification for the 100 A to 200 A range helps keep acoustic output within typical industrial expectations.
The power terminals can accept a maximum demand of 18 kVA, so upstream circuit protection must match the input load. A bleeder resistor rated for 0.5 kW handles steady regeneration, and the energy store is limited to 7 kWs to prevent DC-bus overvoltage. Reliable operation is supported up to 1000 m above sea level, in air containing up to 95% relative humidity, and at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C with output derating. These operating limits cover the main installation conditions for normal industrial use. The drive is series 1 and version 1.
