The DDC01.1-K100A-DA07-01/S001 is a servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It combines a power section, control electronics, and integrated safety circuits in a single sealed enclosure. Its primary purpose is to convert the utility supply into a regulated three-phase output and execute motion commands received from a higher-level PLC, thereby controlling axis position and velocity in automated machining centers, pick-and-place modules, and conveyor systems.
The drive is supplied by 3 × 230 V AC mains and can provide up to 100 A of continuous output for compatible synchronous motors. The housing is sealed to IP65, protecting internal components against dust and low-pressure water jets. Heat is removed through natural air convection rather than forced-air cooling in most mounting orientations. A DC-bus monitor trips at 475 V to protect the drive from excessive bus voltage. The brake release circuit operates at +24 V DC, allowing external safety relays to control the mechanical brake on vertical loads. Motion references enter through an analog interface command module, while digital servo feedback returns precise rotor-position data from the motor. Noise emission is standard for the 100 A to 200 A class and remains within typical industrial operating levels.
During a protective stop, torque is disconnected after 500 ms. Once motor speed falls below 10 rpm, the mechanical brake is applied after an additional 400 ms. An overtemperature grace period of 30 seconds permits controlled deceleration before shutdown. With an auxiliary blower installed, the assembly has a height of 775 mm; without that module, its height is 635 mm, while its width remains 500 mm. The unit carries Function Code 07 and Version 01 and uses Series 1 hardware at Version 1.
