The DDC01.1-K100A-D is a servo drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It converts fixed three-phase mains into controlled motor power, governing velocity, position, and torque on synchronous axes used in gantries, pick-and-place heads, or spindle stations. Controller, power electronics, and diagnostic logic are integrated so the unit can interface directly with a higher-level PLC over standard bus wiring. This arrangement lets the drive handle closed-loop motion tasks in one housing while reporting operating states and faults to the machine control. Because current regulation and motion supervision are handled internally, the drive can support coordinated axis movement without separate analog control electronics.

The drive supplies a continuous phase current of 100 A, which is the RMS output that can be delivered without thermal derating. Safety thresholds guard the power stage. An overcurrent trip triggers at >1.5 × rated current, and an overvoltage cutoff activates above >475 V on the DC link to protect capacitors during regeneration. Proper chimney effect demands a clearance of 300 mm above the heat sink; without that gap, hot air can recirculate and elevate component temperature. Position loops close through Digital Servo Feedback, giving rotor data for accurate motion and continuous self-diagnosis. This feedback method supports stable speed correction and position tracking during repeated starts, stops, and direction changes. Noise produced at the motor terminals remains within the published 100 A to 200 A class.
