The DDC01.1-K050B-RS55-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Installed between the mains supply and a synchronous motor, it generates regulated three-phase power while executing speed and position control loops for industrial automation axes. The drive is intended for decentralized mounting and combines control logic with power electronics in a single enclosure suitable for demanding plant environments. Its reduced noise emission helps the surrounding machinery comply with plant acoustic limits.
Operating from a 3 x 230 V AC supply, the drive delivers up to 50 A of phase current to the motor windings. Heat is removed through natural convection air cooling, so external fans are not required when the housing is mounted vertically with the necessary clearance. The enclosure has an IP65 rating, allowing the unit to be installed outside a control cabinet when all connections are properly sealed. Motion data is exchanged through a SERCOS interface command module installed in the front slot. The internal bleeder circuit issues a warning when the DC-link voltage reaches its 75% threshold. The auxiliary positive and negative 15 V rails and the 24 V rail can each deliver 100 mA to connected user electronics. Diagnostic circuitry includes a 4 mA load that reproduces the positive and negative 10 V monitor signal for system observation. The Bb contact can switch 24 V DC at 1 A to provide run permission, and the drive is Series 1 and Version 1.
Protection against supply anomalies is provided by an overvoltage trip calibrated at 475 V, while operation stops when the DC-link voltage falls below 200 V. Parameter uploads and service connections use a V24 RS-232C serial port located beside the fiber-optic ring connectors, providing direct access to stored drive settings and diagnostic information. Rotor position is detected by a resolver feedback circuit, which supplies the commutation data required for controlled motor operation and remains dependable during brief field disturbances.
