Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-RL45-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Designed to operate a single servo axis, the unit converts three-phase mains power into regulated motor power while executing position loops for automated machinery. Integrated signal processing and resolver feedback allow the drive to issue precise torque and speed commands, making it suitable for material-handling systems, packaging lines, and other industrial motion sequences that depend on closed-loop accuracy.
The drive draws a three-phase input of 230 V AC and can deliver up to 50 A of continuous output current to the motor windings. Internal logic and I/O circuits are supplied from a separate 24 V DC control rail. A 100 ms power-on pulse helps prevent an undervoltage condition by allowing the capacitors to charge before the power stages are enabled. Overvoltage protection trips at 475 V, disconnecting the DC link if regenerative energy exceeds the permitted limit. Positioning tasks are executed by the version 01 single-axis command module, while resolver feedback supplies angular data to the digital regulator. The product is version 1 and uses natural air convection for cooling. A cabinet depth of 140 mm must be reserved for power and feedback cabling.
The mechanical envelope is 775 mm tall when the optional blower is mounted and 635 mm tall without it. Both configurations retain the enclosure’s IP65 protection, allowing installation outside a control cabinet when all connections are properly secured. A spring-applied holding brake is released by the 24-volt rail and engages at a controlled speed of 10 rpm. The brake reaches full clamping torque within 0.4 s, helping restrain the connected axis after engagement. Reduced acoustic emission at the motor’s rated operating point helps limit workplace noise. The air-cooled housing manages heat during continuous duty, including operation with fast, successive moves commanded by the single-axis positioning module.
