Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-RL24-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. A built-in single-axis positioning command module allows the unit to execute motion profiles directly while using resolver feedback to monitor the connected motor. In industrial automation, the drive supplies regulated current to compatible motors so they can follow precise speed or position commands under varying mechanical loads. This integrated positioning capability reduces the need for a separate motion controller on a dedicated axis.
The drive operates from a three-phase input of 3 × 230 V AC and draws a maximum apparent power of 6 kVA. Its power stage provides a rated output current of 50 A for dynamic motion, while the continuous current limit of 25 A maintains thermal balance during steady operation. Switching occurs at a PWM frequency of 8 kHz, reducing acoustic noise and supporting finer torque control. Conversion losses can reach 500 W, and natural-convection air cooling removes heat without a fan or liquid circuit. The housing supports operation at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and installation altitudes up to 1,000 m. A bleeder resistor dissipates regenerated energy continuously at 0.25 kW and can handle peaks of 10 kW. The drive can absorb up to 5 kWs of regenerative energy before rising DC-bus voltage triggers protective shutdown. It belongs to Series 1 and uses Function Code Version 01.
The power stage can sustain a continuous mechanical output of 4 kW, increase to 8 kW for short operating periods, and deliver a peak output of 8.5 kW during acceleration. An enclosure rating of IP65 protects the electronics from dust and low-pressure water jets, allowing the unit to be mounted directly on suitable machinery. Direct mounting can shorten motor and feedback cable runs while preserving protection in demanding industrial areas. Reduced noise emission supports operation near production equipment without adding excessive sound to the surrounding workspace. The assembly weighs 21 kg, which must be considered when selecting the mounting surface and fastening hardware. Integrated resolver interfaces return motor position and speed signals to the control circuits for closed-loop regulation.
