The DDC01.1-K050B-DS60-00-FW is a servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into regulated motor current, enabling closed-loop torque, speed, and position control for automated packaging lines, gantry systems, and material-transfer stations. The unit can be mounted directly on machinery so that the control electronics remain near the axis they command, reducing cable length and minimizing electromagnetic interference.
The drive accepts a supply of 3 × AC 230 V and delivers a continuous output of 50 A to the motor windings. Command data enter through a SERCOS interface module that exchanges cyclic setpoints and feedback over a fiber-optic ring with neighboring drives. Two analog monitor outputs provide a span of ±10 V and support a 4 mA load for oscilloscope or controller channels. To protect the DC link, an overvoltage shutdown is initiated when the bus potential rises above 475 V. A Bb relay contact rated at DC 24 V and 1 A can forward this fault to external safety circuits. Additional diagnostics are available through a V24 RS-232C service interface, and noise emission at the motor terminals remains reduced at the 50 A rating.
Cooling relies on natural air convection, so an outlet clearance of 300 mm must be maintained above the heat sink. The enclosure meets IP65 ingress protection requirements, allowing installation outside control cabinets. Digital servo feedback supports encoder cables up to 75 m long. A buffered signal output limited to 100 mA can drive external indicators without overloading the output circuit. Parameter adjustment and service access are provided through a 15-pin D-Sub connector on the front panel. The accessible connector placement allows configuration and diagnostic equipment to be attached without opening the protected enclosure.
