The DDC01.1-K050B-DS58-50-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. As a closed-loop controller, it interfaces directly with a compatible Indramat synchronous or induction motor to regulate torque, speed, and position in automated machinery. The unit combines drive control, motor feedback, and communication functions in a rugged enclosure, allowing it to support coordinated motion in production systems and other industrial equipment.
This drive accepts a three-phase mains input of 3 × 220/230 VAC. Its internal rectifier converts the incoming supply into DC-bus power, and the bus trips at 475 V to protect the power electronics from excessive voltage. The inverter section provides a continuous output current of 50 A, while the protection logic opens the circuit if phase current exceeds 1.5 times the rated current. Heat generated during operation is removed through natural air convection, so forced-air fans are not required under the stated mounting conditions. Noise emission is classified as reduced at nominal load, making the unit suitable for installations with acoustic restrictions. Digital servo feedback from the connected motor supplies position and velocity data to the internal control loops. A 100 ms power-on pulse allows the control system to verify supply stability before enabling the power stage.
The housing has an IP65 protection rating, allowing the drive to be mounted directly on a machine frame without a separate protective cabinet. The enclosure measures 220 mm wide and 298 mm deep, while its overall height is 775 mm with the optional blower or 635 mm without it. Functional safety sequences include a torque-off delay of 500 ms and a brake application delay of 400 ms. The brake is applied at a shaft speed of 10 rpm to support controlled stops. Communication with the motion controller is provided through the SERCOS interface, which supports synchronized command and status exchange. The drive is Series 1 and Version 1.
