Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS58-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It houses control, power, and communication functions in one enclosure, allowing a single module to regulate synchronous and induction motors in automated machinery. Within an installation, the drive exchanges cyclic data through its SERCOS interface command module, making it suitable for distributed motion systems that require deterministic bus timing. This communication method supports synchronized command execution between the drive and the higher-level motion controller.
The control section provides an analog monitor channel with either a 4 mA current signal or a voltage signal of up to ±10 V for real-time feedback to external controllers. Braking time is limited to 0.4 s to bring the connected motor to rest while controlling thermal loading. Motor phase current is regulated up to 50 A, and the drive has reduced noise emissions while operating at this current rating. The internal DC link has a cutoff level of 475 V to protect components from excessive voltage during regenerative events. Cooling relies on natural convection, although an optional blower can be attached when additional heat dissipation is required. The standard unit supports three-phase 220/230 V mains at 50 or 60 Hz and filters incoming power through dedicated contacts.
The DC bus becomes active once the intermediate circuit reaches 200 V, indicating that stored energy is sufficient for controlled torque production. Logic circuits and the integrated holding brake receive power from a control rail rated at 24 V DC. For external interlocks, the power contact can switch 230 V AC loads up to 6 A, while the ready contact handles 24 V DC signals at 1 A. The unit measures 635 mm in height without a blower and 775 mm when the fan assembly is installed. Installation clearances must accommodate the applicable height and provide unobstructed paths for natural airflow. The incoming supply operates within a 50/60 Hz frequency range, allowing connection to either common industrial mains frequency.
