Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS56-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. This drive combines a power stage, a command module, and digital feedback processing so it can close the torque, velocity, or position loop for a synchronous motor without additional control hardware. By converting three-phase mains power into controlled motor current, it positions machine axes in assembly cells, printing lines, and material-handling systems where precise, repeatable motion is required. The integrated control architecture supports coordinated axis movement while reducing the number of separate components needed around the motor.
During normal operation, the drive receives power through 3 x AC 230 V (+10/-15%) lines at 50/60 Hz. From that input, it forms a DC bus and supplies up to 50 A of continuous output current to the motor terminals, supporting demanding acceleration profiles without thermal derating. The logic circuits use a separate and stable control supply of 24 V DC. The enable path draws only 150 mA, allowing it to operate with compact emergency-stop relays. These voltage, current, and frequency requirements allow the drive to connect to compatible plant power distribution and PLC interlock circuits. Proper separation between the power and logic supplies also helps prevent disturbances in the motor circuit from affecting control signals.
For machine protection, the controller opens its main contactor if the DC-bus voltage rises above 475 V. The Ud/bvw relay can switch an external alarm circuit rated at AC 250 V and 1 A, allowing the controller to report a fault to other machine controls. The sealed housing meets IP65, so the drive can be installed on moving axes without a separate cabinet when the surrounding installation meets applicable requirements. Heat is removed through natural convection air cooling, eliminating the need for fans and reducing operating noise and routine maintenance. Diagnostic equipment connects through an RS-232 port, while process data is exchanged with upstream motion controllers over the integrated SERCOS fiber-optic ring. Motor power connector IN 110 and power feed connector IN 108 support decentralized drive installation and organized cable routing.
