Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS54-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. As a closed-loop controller, it regulates the torque, velocity, and position of synchronous motors that return position data through digital servo feedback. In automated machinery, the unit interprets real-time commands, modulates motor power, and maintains the precise motion profiles required for robotics, packaging stations, and material-handling axes.
The drive accepts a three-phase mains supply of 3 × 230 V AC and can provide a continuous output current of 50 A to the connected motor. Its analog monitor port operates across a range of ±10 V and supplies up to 4 mA, allowing external meters or controllers to track operating variables without overloading the circuit. The control electronics are energized by a separate 24 V DC rail that draws 150 mA during active use. Relay logic is handled by a Bb contact rated for 24 V DC at 1 A. Motion commands arrive through the SERCOS interface, which provides deterministic fiber-optic communication with higher-level PLCs. Current protection activates at 1.5 times the rated value to prevent excessive electrical loading.
Local setup data and diagnostic information can be accessed through an RS-232 port. Encoder connectivity is supported by an NC feedback line with a maximum length of 20 m, allowing the drive to receive motor position signals across the machine installation. The housing has an ingress protection rating of IP65, preventing dust and low-pressure water jets from affecting internal assemblies. Thermal energy is dissipated through natural convection air cooling, eliminating the need for a separate cooling fan. Overvoltage shutdown occurs when the DC link reaches 475 V, protecting the power semiconductors from excessive voltage. The device is Series 1 and Version 1 of the DDC platform.
