Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS51-01-FW servo drive is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. This closed-loop device supplies controlled three-phase power to a brushless motor and executes position, speed, and torque commands received from higher-level automation systems. In industrial automation, it delivers dynamic motion while maintaining feedback-based accuracy for conveyor sections, pick-and-place heads, and forming tools. Digital servo feedback allows the controller to monitor motor operation and correct deviations from commanded motion in real time.
The drive delivers a continuous output current of 50 A, providing the capacity needed to accelerate loads connected to compatible midrange servo motors. Its analog monitor port provides a signal range of ±10 V, allowing external indicators to track torque or velocity without placing a significant load on the internal control circuits. Drive-enable and reference logic operate at 24 VDC, and the input current is limited to 150 mA. Motion commands are exchanged through the SERCOS interface, which uses deterministic fiber-optic telegrams to carry setpoints and diagnostic data. The cast aluminum enclosure has an IP65 rating, protecting internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets. This enclosure allows the drive to be mounted near the motor, which can reduce power and feedback cable lengths in distributed machine layouts.
The diagnostic channel can supply up to 4 mA, which is sufficient for high-impedance data loggers without distorting the monitored signal. Heat produced by the power stage is removed through natural air convection, eliminating the need for cooling fans and their associated moving parts. The DC-bus overvoltage trip activates when the link voltage exceeds 475 V, allowing lower transient voltage increases without immediately stopping operation. A separate Ud-closed threshold above 200 V controls the applicable regenerative operating condition. The power section accepts a three-phase AC supply and rectifies the incoming power internally before generating the modulated motor output. A noise-reduction system limits acoustic emissions during operation. The unit uses function code 01 and is designated as Series 1, Version 1 for operation in compatible multi-axis drive systems.
