Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS46-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It receives motion commands from higher-level controllers and modulates current to synchronous motors, enabling precise velocity and position regulation in industrial automation. Within a machine control system, the drive acts as the electronic link between the command source and the motor, translating control data into regulated output for accurate axis motion. This makes the unit suitable for packaging stations, printing lines, and handling axes where compact electronic drives are used and repeatable axis response is important.
It draws power from a three-phase mains rated at 3 x AC 220 V and supplies up to 50 A of motor current. The input stage accommodates 50/60 Hz grids without manual reconfiguration, and motion profiles arrive through the integrated SERCOS interface. The unit is assigned the reduced 50 A noise emission rating, matching its current class. Two analog outputs provide real-time status signals, and three programmable control inputs support external machine logic. Cooling is provided by natural convection air cooling, while digital servo feedback from the motor returns high-resolution position data for closed-loop control. The housing is 220 mm wide and 275 mm deep, which helps the unit fit compact drive layouts.
The drive’s power section also accepts 3 x AC 230 V, and internal monitoring trips if the DC bus rises above 475 V or drops below 200 V. Parameter access is available through the front-panel RS-232 service port, which provides a direct connection for setup and diagnostics. The drive is series 1 and version 1. These protection limits help reduce stress on internal components during line variation or regenerative conditions.
