Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS45-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. As a closed-loop power stage, it regulates torque and speed for synchronous servo motors used in automated packaging machines, pick-and-place stations, and material-handling axes. Its design combines power electronics and motion control functions with a SERCOS fieldbus slot, allowing higher-level controllers to issue deterministic motion commands over fiber-optic links. Digital servo feedback monitors rotor position and velocity, enabling the drive to maintain accurate commutation as operating conditions change.
The command module supports the SERCOS interface, enabling cyclic setpoint exchange and diagnostic messaging with the motion controller. Local diagnostic access is available through the built-in RS-232 port, which can transmit status data to a connected PC terminal. The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x 220/230 VAC at line frequencies of 50/60 Hz. It can deliver a continuous output current of 50 A to the motor windings for sustained operation. The controller uses a 100 ms pulse width while maintaining motor commutation through the feedback loop. Internal monitoring compares the DC bus voltage with fixed limits to detect overvoltage and undervoltage conditions, and the drive has reduced acoustic output at its rated current.
The sealed housing has an ingress protection rating of IP65, helping prevent dust and low-pressure water jets from reaching the electronics. DC bus protection trips at 475 V, while the control electronics shut down below 200 V to prevent operation during an undervoltage condition. The inverter has an overall height of 775 mm with the optional blower attached. Installation requires 65 mm of clearance at the sides and 300 mm above the exhaust channel to prevent airflow restrictions. Removing the blower reduces the overall height to 635 mm and permits natural-convection cooling when the installation provides adequate ventilation. The drive is Series 1 and Version 1, identifying its product generation without changing its core control and diagnostic functions.
