Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS18-02-FW is a digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied under the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It regulates current, velocity, and position for compatible motors in automated assembly lines, packaging systems, and handling equipment. The unit acts as the axis amplifier that links the machine control layer to the electromechanical load, allowing motion commands to produce controlled motor torque and movement.
The drive accepts a three-phase mains input of 3 × AC 220/230 V and can deliver a continuous motor phase current of 50 A. Control commands are exchanged over the integrated SERCOS interface, while service diagnostics are available through the front-mounted RS-232 port. Internal logic and sensor circuits are powered by auxiliary rails of +15 V, −15 V, and +24 V, eliminating the need for separate external DC supplies for these circuits. Power enters the unit at infeed point X7 and is routed through the INS 108 mains connector. Motor phases leave through the INS 110 plug, while rotor position data returns through digital servo feedback channels. A dedicated INS 478 machine connector carries enable, inhibit, and emergency stop contacts, while diagnostic outputs AK1 and AK2 transmit drive status to the master controller.
Thermal energy is removed through natural convection air cooling, so no fan wiring or filter maintenance is required. After shutdown, the DC bus capacitors discharge to a safe level within 5 minutes, allowing cabinet access without external discharge resistors. The motor terminals are located on a removable INS 110 terminal block, which simplifies access to the motor wiring. The control card provides up to five plug-in slots for option modules that support I/O expansion or encoder adaptation. Its reduced acoustic profile limits noise emission near operator stations. The product is Series 1 and Version 1.
