Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DS03-03-FW is a servo drive unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The device combines a power stage, control logic, and a SERCOS interface command module to regulate AC servomotors in automated machinery. By converting incoming DC bus energy into controlled three-phase output, it coordinates speed, torque, and position loops in assembly lines, packaging cells, and material-handling stations. Its integrated layout helps place motor control functions close to the machine while maintaining closed-loop motion performance for demanding industrial axes.
The drive is engineered for continuous operation at a rated current of 50 A, allowing stable motor output during sustained production duty. An enclosure classified as IP65 shields the electronics from dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, letting the unit mount directly on machine frames outside the cabinet. Heat is removed through natural convection, so no fans are fitted and vertical clearance must be maintained for upward airflow. Low-voltage logic is supplied at 24 VDC, and the internal optocoupler circuits draw only 150 mA, which reduces demand on the auxiliary supply. This arrangement supports fieldbus communication and control functions without adding separate cooling hardware or heavy control wiring.
Motor and feedback leads may be routed up to 75 m before signal quality or voltage drop becomes critical, which supports long-travel machine layouts. A minimum front-to-panel clearance of 300 mm allows airflow around the housing during operation. The unit has a vertical dimension of 775 mm, a frame width of 275 mm, and a depth of 220 mm, so it can fit into compact installations while still providing space for power and signal connections. These proportions support orderly cable routing and make the drive suitable for multi-axis arrangements where available mounting space is limited.
