The DDC01.1-K050B-DL27-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. As a closed-loop controller, it supplies regulated power to synchronous servo motors used in automated machinery. The drive stores motion programs locally and supports onboard positioning, allowing a higher-level PLC to offload axis-control tasks. This arrangement enables the unit to regulate motor torque, velocity, and position while executing programmed motion sequences within the drive.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 50 A, allowing it to operate medium-frame motors at their nominal current without an external amplifier. Heat is removed through natural convection air cooling, so the standard housing does not require a fan. An optional bolt-on blower increases the overall height from 635 mm to 775 mm when additional airflow is needed. The enclosure has an IP 65 protection rating, providing protection against dust and low-pressure water jets when the unit is mounted outside a cabinet. Internal memory stores up to 3000 program blocks, enabling multistep motion sequences without continuous commands from a host controller. Digital servo feedback from the motor encoder closes the control loop for accurate velocity and position regulation. The drive also produces reduced acoustic output when the connected motor operates at its rated load.
A single-axis positioning command module provides stand-alone indexing and programmable axis control. The drive includes two onboard diagnostic channels that provide fault or status outputs for connection to stack lights, monitoring circuits, or safety relays. Three optional interface bays support additional fieldbus or I/O cards through the backplane. The logic rack also accepts up to four plug-in functional modules for expanded control functions. Communication with plant computers or service laptops is available through one RS-232 port. The unit uses function code version 01 and belongs to Series 1, Version 1.
