The DDC01.1-K050B-DL01-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It combines power electronics and control logic in one enclosure and governs a single servo axis directly from the drive. By embedding a single-axis positioning module, it executes motion profiles without an external PLC, providing closed-loop regulation for automated packaging machines, assembly lines, and material-handling systems that require direct axis control.

The drive accepts a three-phase supply and is rated for 3 × 230 V AC (+10 %/-15 %) at full load. Its continuous output of 50 A supports medium-frame Indramat motors, and a hardware interrupt trips at 1.5 × rated current to protect power devices during stalls. Excess DC-link energy is blocked by an overvoltage threshold of 475 V, helping protect internal insulation and power components. Up to 3000 blocks of positioning code can be stored locally and dispatched by the integrated single-axis command module. Configuration and diagnostics pass through a 34-pin programming connector, while digital servo feedback from the motor maintains precise rotor position. A reduced-noise current profile helps keep acoustic output low during operation.

To maintain rated performance, the housing is sealed to IP65, permitting installation outside a control cabinet. Heat is removed by natural convection, and at least 300 mm of clearance is required above the outlet slots. The controller flags an undervoltage threshold of 200 V to complement the high-side cutoff described earlier. Field communication relies on RS232/RS485 signals presented on a 9-pin D-SUB connector for setup or data exchange with higher-level controllers.
