Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050B-DC01-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It serves as the axis amplifier in automated machinery, converting supplied DC power into regulated three-phase output that tracks command setpoints. Integrated processing compares motor encoder data with reference trajectories so torque, speed, and position are corrected in real time during packaging, material handling, or printing operations. Because current regulation and feedback evaluation are handled inside the unit, the connected motor can follow indexing moves, velocity ramps, and holding commands with consistent correction from the control loop.
Thermal management relies on natural convection, so the heat sink must remain in free air for proper cooling. The housing carries a sealing level of IP65, permitting installation directly on the machine frame where dust and low-pressure water exposure may be present. Its power stage delivers a continuous output of 50 A, and the switching pattern is set to reduce acoustic noise during operation. An INTERBUS-S command module provides fieldbus communication, with network wiring terminated on a 9-pin D-Sub female connector. Digital servo feedback from the attached motor supplies position data to the controller, while function code 01 and version 01 identify the control format used by this drive. The unit is Series 1 and Version 1.
Protective circuits supervise supply conditions and fault limits so the drive can react to abnormal electrical states before damage develops. The inverter shuts down at 475 V DC link overvoltage and signals undervoltage once the bus falls to 200 V. Overcurrent is latched when phase current rises to 1.5 × IN, whereas an earth-fault detector trips at 0.5 × IN to isolate a faulted condition. A minimum on-pulse of 100 ms is required by the gate driver for a clean startup, and the ZKS safety input enables the drive when 24 V DC at 150 mA is present. After enable, the unit exchanges telegrams over the fieldbus network and applies threshold logic to monitor operating conditions during motion.
