It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into regulated motor current, allowing permanent-magnet servo motors to follow precise speed and position commands. The power stage supplies a continuous output current of 50 A. An overcurrent limiter disconnects the drive when demand reaches 1.5 times the rated current, protecting the power stage from excessive electrical loading. A DC-link monitor activates at 475 V to prevent capacitor overstress when a rapidly decelerating axis returns energy to the bus.
