Product Description:

The DDC01.1-K050A-DS24-03-FW servo drive is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. This standalone module supplies regulated AC power to synchronous motors while executing velocity and position control loops directly in the drive. By integrating control, power, and communication functions, it reduces cabinet wiring and supports machine layouts common in automated transfer lines, material-handling systems, and gantry stages. As a digital intelligent servo drive, it accommodates demanding duty cycles while delivering controlled acceleration, precise holding, and diagnostic feedback for industrial automation cells.

The power section delivers a continuous armature current of 50 A while receiving power from 3 × 220/230 VAC mains at 50/60 Hz. To prevent damage from mains surges, the control electronics initiate an overvoltage shutdown when the DC bus reaches 475 VDC. The link circuit engages the Ud threshold at 200 VDC and can switch auxiliary loads through a Ud contact rated for 250 VAC at 1 A. Passive heat dissipation uses natural-convection air cooling, avoiding additional fans and allowing the drives to be stacked vertically with suitable airflow clearance. Ready status is signaled by a relay that can carry 24 VDC at 1 A. Noise emission remains within the standard 100 A to 200 A class during full-load operation.

The control input accepts 24 VDC at 150 mA, enabling the low-power logic to remain active while mains power is isolated. Real-time motion commands pass through the SERCOS interface command module, while rotor position is returned to the drive through digital servo feedback. A bleeder monitor issues a warning when bus energy reaches 75%, giving the PLC time to reduce deceleration torque. Diagnostic data are available through an analog port with a range of ±10 V, and the port can support a 4 mA load without signal distortion. The electronics platform is Series 1, Version 1. Its ready relay, analog diagnostics, and bus monitoring functions provide status information to the connected control system during operation.
