Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050A-DL30-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and placed in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It supplies closed-loop motion control for one synchronous motor through its integrated single-axis positioning module, allowing precise position and velocity regulation in automated machinery. The drive is intended for cabinet-free mounting on the machine frame, so it can be installed close to the actuator rather than inside a separate enclosure. This arrangement suits machine-mounted installations where short motor leads and direct access to the drive are preferred. Its IP65 housing protects internal electronics from dust and water spray, while natural convection removes heat without external fans.
The power section is rated for 50 A continuous output current and accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 230 V. If line current rises to 1.5 x rated current, the drive blocks pulses to protect its semiconductors. It also disconnects the DC bus at 475 V, which helps limit stress during abnormal supply conditions. These protection thresholds help stop overcurrent and overvoltage events from propagating through the power stage. Cooling is by ambient air moving over the finned heat sink, and resolver feedback from the motor supports the single-axis positioning module for closed-loop position and velocity control.
Control and diagnostics are provided through a nine-pin RS232/RS485 serial port, a 34-pin programming connector that accepts cables up to 30 m, and a 7-segment status display that shows operating codes. The serial interface supports local communication tasks, while the display gives a quick visual reference for drive status during operation. The programming connector allows access across longer cable runs without relocating the drive. The analog interface provides a maximum load of 4 mA across a bipolar ±10 V range for external process signals. Input undervoltage protection trips at 200 V to prevent brownout faults, five card slots allow option modules to be added without increasing the footprint, and the unit is Version 1.
