The DDC01.1-K050A-DL10-01-FW is a digitally controlled servo amplifier produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It includes a built-in single-axis positioning command module that can execute motion programs without a separate positioning controller. Within an automation cell, the unit provides closed-loop regulation for a compatible synchronous motor. It converts numerical setpoints into torque, velocity, and position commands, allowing the connected axis to remain synchronized with the machine cycle.
The drive provides a continuous output current of 50 A for sustained motor operation. An overcurrent trip activates at 1.5 times the rated current to protect the power stage from excessive electrical loading. DC-link monitoring opens the circuit if the bus voltage exceeds 475 V, helping prevent damage to internal components. An internal thermal sensor issues an overtemperature warning after a delay of 30 seconds, providing time for an orderly shutdown. The drive uses natural air convection for fanless cooling, so the cabinet must provide adequate clearance for unrestricted airflow around the heat sink. Motor position and velocity information are received through digital servo feedback, enabling the controller to correct motion errors during operation. Motion programs are transferred through a 34-pin female programming port, while a separate 9-pin D-sub male service port provides access to operating data and diagnostics. The unit carries Function Code Version 01 and device Version 1.
The enclosure requires 775 mm of vertical cabinet space, which must remain available when positioning the drive among adjacent control equipment. Its housing has a width of 220 mm and a depth of 275 mm, allowing installation in relatively narrow electrical cabinet columns. An additional 470 mm of cable space is required beneath the heat sink for power, feedback, and communication conductors. This lower clearance allows the cables to maintain suitable bend radii without placing excessive strain on connectors or conductor insulation. The programming and service ports should remain accessible from the front so operating data can be retrieved without disturbing the primary power connections.
