Internal Product Review
The DDC01.1-K050A-DL08-00 is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat digital intelligent servo drive built for single-axis positioning and rated at 50 A. Natural convection cooling and digital servo feedback support stable operation and clean motion control in demanding servo applications. A peak mechanical load of 8.5 kW gives the drive strong dynamic capacity, making the unit a very capable choice for precision motion systems.

Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050A-DL08-00 is a closed-loop servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It merges power electronics, motion control, and feedback processing to run synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery. An integrated single-axis positioning command module lets the drive execute motion sequences without a PLC, which simplifies cabinet layouts in CNC, packaging, and material-handling systems. It can therefore handle axis-level tasks such as local indexing, homing, and short point-to-point moves without depending on centralized sequence control for every motion command.
The converter accepts 3 × 230 V AC input power, and the unit can deliver a nominal line current of 50 A. Under those conditions, it supports a continuous mechanical output of 4 kW while accepting peaks to 8.5 kW during rapid acceleration. Switching devices operate at an 8 kHz PWM frequency, which helps keep current ripple and torque pulsation low. Regenerative energy that cannot return to the mains is dissipated by an internal bleeder rated for 0.25 kW continuously or 10 kW momentarily, and up to 5 kWs can be absorbed per braking event. Motion feedback arrives through digital servo feedback, while the analog interface supplies ±10 V references at a 4 mA load. Natural convection cooling eliminates fans, and the housing still dissipates roughly 500 W of loss power.
The control electronics draw 24 V DC at 150 mA, which isolates the logic supply from mains disturbances. For brief moves, the drive handles a short-term mechanical load of 8 kW and can consume up to 6 kVA from the facility supply. The enclosure weighs 21 kg, allowing direct panel mounting without extra brackets. The separate control supply helps the command section remain stable while the power stage is switching motor current. Noise emission is classified as standard for 100 A to 200 A drives, and the drive is Series 1 and Version 1.
