Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DDC01.1-K050A-DL04-01-FW for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The product integrates a regulated inverter, a single-axis positioning command module, and local I/O to execute precise servo loops in packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and similar machinery. This combination lets the unit handle motion sequencing and machine signaling within the same housing. Acting as the drive, it converts mains power into controlled motor current while monitoring digital feedback to maintain programmed trajectories. It is suited for machines that need single-axis positioning with onboard control functions in a compact drive package.
Line power is accepted through a three-wire three-phase AC input operating at 50/60 Hz. The converter is designed for a continuous 50 A output to the motor, and a short-circuit limit of 350 mA protects the control electronics. Natural convection through an internal air path cools the power section, so no forced ventilation is required. The single-axis positioning module stores 3,000 blocks of motion code, and the integrated PLC exposes 15 inputs / 16 outputs for machine signaling. These onboard signals can be used for interlocks, sensors, and output commands tied to stored motion routines. Connections are sealed to IP65, and motor feedback arrives as digital servo feedback.
The internal diagnostics area draws 100 mA from a dedicated 24 V DC rail, isolating low-level sensors from the high-energy motor bus. This separate low-voltage supply helps keep diagnostic and sensor circuits apart from the power section during operation. Program and diagnostic data travel on a serial port that presents RS-232 or RS-485 levels through a 9-pin D-sub, while a 34-pin female header links to a detached keypad or display. The drive is Series 1 and Version 1.
