Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050A-DL03-01-FW is a servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. As a digital intelligent servo drive, it governs motor torque, speed, and position in automated machinery and material-handling cells. When paired with motor-mounted sensors, the unit performs closed-loop control that allows each connected axis to follow commanded motion accurately. This control architecture supports positioning tasks that require coordinated acceleration, deceleration, and load response.
This model operates from a three-phase 220/230 VAC supply and can deliver a continuous phase current of 50 A. Hardware protection intervenes if conductor current rises to 1.5 times the rated current or if the DC bus reaches 475 V, helping prevent semiconductor damage during stalls or regenerative events. The housing has an ingress protection rating of IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets do not compromise the internal electronics. Cooling relies on natural air convection, eliminating the need for fans and reducing acoustic noise. The noise emission category is Standard for the 100 A to 200 A motor range. The controller accepts a 24 VDC control supply at 150 mA and recognizes logic inputs referenced to the same 24 V rail. For electromechanical interfacing, the Bb relay contact can switch a 24 VDC, 1 A load, while the Ud relay contact can switch a 250 VAC, 1 A load. These contacts can operate fault indicators or external interlocks connected to the drive system.
The internal command module is configured for single-axis positioning and stores up to 3,000 program blocks, allowing sequential moves without a separate PLC. Parameter uploads and diagnostic data travel over a serial link that follows the V24, RS-232C standard. The drive-side connection uses a 9-pin D-sub connector and supports serial cables up to 15 m long. Digital servo feedback from the motor encoder supplies position data to the control loop. The unit uses function code 03 and function version 01 for its installed control functions. It is a Series 1 device with device version 1, establishing the software compatibility required when applying approved updates.
