Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050A-DL02-00 is a digital servo drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It includes a Single Axis Positioning command module, so it can execute point-to-point moves without an external motion controller. The drive also processes Digital Servo Feedback from the motor, allowing closed-loop control of torque and velocity in automated assembly stations and material-handling cells. That internal positioning capability supports indexing and short positioning sequences directly at the drive level. Within the series, the unit is identified as design 1 and version 1.
Incoming power is a 3 × 230 V AC (+10%/-15%) three-phase supply, and under rated motion the converter draws up to 50 A. It operates on line frequencies from 50 to 60 Hz, while the control electronics use a separate 24 V DC supply at 150 mA. This separate control supply allows the logic section to remain energized independently of the main power stage during startup and status monitoring. For analog monitoring or cascaded control, the drive provides a ±10 V output that can source 4 mA. Main-side startup inrush is limited to 230 V / 6 A, the ready state requires 24 V / 1 A, and an internal resistor chain begins dissipating regenerated energy when the bleeder warning reaches 75 percent.
Thermal management relies on natural convection air cooling, which keeps the design passive and maintains standard noise emission. Two dedicated diagnostic outputs report drive status to the PLC, allowing the control system to monitor operating conditions and fault states. Host communication and parameter downloads are handled through one RS-232 port, which provides a direct serial link for setup and data access. To protect downstream circuitry, the device opens its UD contact when the intermediate circuit rises above 200 V. These supervision functions correspond to function code 02 and are coordinated by the single-axis positioning logic.
