The DDC01.1-K050A-DL01-00 is a servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It combines power electronics with a single-axis positioning command module to operate one motor in automated equipment. By using closed-loop digital servo feedback and onboard motion control, the unit regulates torque, speed, and position without requiring an external PLC. This arrangement allows the drive to execute stored motion sequences locally and react quickly to start, stop, and positioning commands. It fits pick-and-place stations, packaging machines, and other systems that need embedded axis control in a compact drive package.

The drive is fed from a 3-phase AC mains connection, and its power stage delivers a rated armature current of 50 A to the connected motor. Internal logic power is supplied through a separate control input at 24 V DC, which keeps the control section energized independently of the main power stage. The hardware trips when the intermediate-circuit voltage reaches 475 V, and it requires a minimum power-on pulse of 100 ms to start correctly. A short-circuit limit of 350 mA protects the control electronics, while the user terminals can supply up to 100 mA for encoder or sensor power. Heat is removed by natural convection, and five plug-in slots accept option cards while the memory supports up to 3000 program blocks for stored motion routines.

For machine interfacing, the unit provides 15 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, allowing the internal positioning logic to exchange commands and status signals directly with surrounding equipment. This input and output count supports direct connection to sensors, interlocks, and actuator signals around the axis. The holding brake signal stays active for 0.4 s after a stop command so the brake has time to close. Protection reaches IP65, which permits cabinet-free mounting near the motor. Noise emission is rated as standard in the 100 A to 200 A class.
