The DDC01.1-K050A-D is a digital intelligent servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Within an automation cell, this unit links a CNC or PLC to a synchronous motor, supplying regulated current and monitoring position to close the servo loop. Its integrated power electronics, signal conditioning, and feedback interface allow the drive to command rapid starts, controlled braking, and steady torque in packaging, printing, or material-handling axes. The design combines power conversion and motion-control functions in one unit for coordinated axis operation.

The drive draws mains power from a three-phase AC supply and can deliver a continuous output of 50 A, making it suitable for medium-power motors. Command inputs are accepted at a control voltage of 24 V DC with a sink current of 150 mA, while logic outputs can source up to 100 mA for field devices. Two analog monitor channels provide process signals, and each channel may be loaded with 4 mA; the voltage swing reaches ±10 V for speed or torque references. The enclosure is rated IP65, which helps protect internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets. The control bus can be extended up to 20 m without signal degradation.

An internal comparator disconnects the inverter if the DC link reaches 475 V DC, while a downstream threshold at 200 V supervises the shared Ud contact. When axis motion is idle, the electronics are cooled by natural convection air cooling, eliminating the need for fans. Position data return to the controller through digital servo feedback, preserving accuracy over repeated cycles and stable low-speed operation. Auxiliary switching is available on the Bb relay, which can handle DC 24 V / 1 A for brakes or interlocks. The drive is Series 1 and Version 1.
