The DDC01.1-F200A-DS16-02-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It converts incoming electrical power into regulated motor voltage and current for compatible synchronous motors. Closed-loop control allows the drive to manage position, speed, and torque in automated machinery. Typical applications include packaging stations, material-handling equipment, and other systems that require coordinated motion under changing loads.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × 230 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Its power stage supports a continuous operating current of 200 A, allowing it to control motors used for demanding industrial axes. Excess heat is removed through a liquid cooling circuit, so the installation requires a suitable chilled coolant loop rather than relying on ambient airflow. The housing has an IP65 protection rating, which protects internal components against dust and low-pressure water jets. This enclosure allows the drive to be mounted directly on a machine frame without a separate protective cabinet. Installation requires 300 mm of clearance above the outlet and 65 mm of clearance on each side to maintain unobstructed access around the unit. Noise emission remains at the standard level for devices in the 100 A to 200 A range.
Motion commands are transmitted through the SERCOS interface, which supports synchronized fiber-optic communication with a higher-level motion controller. Rotor position is returned through digital servo feedback, allowing the drive to maintain closed-loop position and speed regulation. The drive disconnects its output if the DC-link voltage rises above 475 V DC, helping protect the power stage during a line surge. It also disconnects the output when phase current exceeds 1.5 times the rated current, limiting damage during stalled-load or short-circuit conditions. Motor leads should cross other power cables at a 90-degree angle, and signal wiring should remain at least 10 cm away to reduce electromagnetic interference. The product is Series 1 and Version 1.
